The relationship between pharmacotherapy and the quality of life of oncology patients is a highly relevant topic in the healthcare context, as cancer is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. In this regard, the aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between pharmacotherapy and the quality of life of oncology patients, highlighting the impacts of different pharmacological treatments on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This is an integrative literature review on the relationship between pharmacotherapy and the quality of life of oncology patients. Table 1 presents a selection of recent studies that explore the connection between pharmacotherapy and the quality of life of oncology patients. Each study contributes to a deeper understanding of the factors that influence this relationship. Pharmacotherapy plays a fundamental role not only in the direct fight against cancer but also in alleviating symptoms related to the disease and its treatment. The relationship between pharmacotherapy and the quality of life of oncology patients is a key aspect in the context of cancer treatment. By offering possibilities for disease control and symptom relief, pharmacotherapy plays a crucial role not only in patient survival but also in their physical and emotional well-being.
